Sam from our team had the absolute pleasure of visiting Allpay recently and meeting Jackie and Tanya from their fantastic Charity Committee. Who kindly invited us along to collect the incredible gifts donated by their colleagues.
Each year, Allpay hosts a “Giving Tree” in a shared staff area. Gift tags are placed on the tree with requests from their chosen charity. Colleagues then pick a tag, buy and beautifully wrap a gift, and return it to sit beneath the tree.
This year, in support of Lee’s Place, an amazing 77 thoughtfully chosen gifts were donated, every single one wrapped with care and kindness.
And the generosity didn’t stop there.
Allpay’s Charity Committee supports a range of charities throughout the year, raising funds through activities that colleagues get involved in with real enthusiasm.
Alongside the gifts, they have also donated:
- A large meal to feed our guests on one evening
- A fantastic commercial microwave to support our kitchen
We cannot thank Allpay, their Charity Committee, and every colleague who took part enough. Your generosity will bring warmth, dignity and festive joy to the people who rely on Lee’s Place and it truly means the world to us.
